INDIANAPOLIS — The Operation Football regular season is in the history books. Sectionals in Class 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A kick off next Friday.

The final AP rankings are expected to come out Tuesday and there could be some significant shakeups after the regular season finale. 6A No. 1 Brownsburg was dealt their first loss of the season and denied the outright conference title by the Hamilton Southeastern Royals. Westfield routed Franklin Central to claim their share of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference championship.

Additionally, 5A No. 5 Plainfield handed 4A No. 2 Martinsville their first loss of the season which means both the Quakers and Artesians will share the Mid-State Conference title for 2024.
