INDIANAPOLIS — Another big-time clash on Operation Football as Cathedral visited Warren Central Friday night.
The Irish were up 14-7 in the second half when a 47-yard field goal by Van Krisiloff extended the lead to 10.
The Warriors were far from finished, though. Anthony Dennison found Airic Hester for a 40-yard gain.
A little bit later it was Denison to Hester again, this time a 29-yard touchdown that cut the deficit to three at 17-14.
Back and forth these two teams went, but Warren Central gets the 34-28 win over Cathedral. The Warriors end the regular season at 8-1.
