INDIANAPOLIS — More than 40 athletes with ties to Indiana are competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

From the Indiana Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton to Indiana University's Lilly King, the Hoosier State will be well-represented in the quest for gold.

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics is Friday, July 26, with several sporting events beginning Wednesday, July 24. The Olympics conclude Sunday, Aug. 11.

Live coverage will air during the day on WTHR, with recaps airing in the evenings.
