AVON, Ind. — Beauty products company Sephora is set to open a large warehouse in Hendricks County.
VanTrust Real Estate, LLC announced Wednesday it will begin construction on a nearly 750,000 square-foot facility at Avon Landings Commerce Park to serve as Sephora's Midwest distribution center.
The facility, located on Ronald Reagan Parkway in Avon near East County Road 300 North, is scheduled to be completed by summer 2025.
"Avon Landings is a 119-acre master-planned Park with a prime location, near Indianapolis, a dynamic market we continue to invest in," Phil Rasey, vice president of development at VanTrust, said in a statement. "We are pleased that Sephora, one of the best-known retail brands in the world, has chosen to locate its distribution center here.”
VanTrust previously oversaw construction of a Sephora facility in Las Vegas.
“[The facility's] proximity to a large metropolitan area and transportation hubs will provide direct access to our customers throughout the country," Joe Zarzycki, VP of planning and engineering for Sephora, said in the statement.
"This project aligns with our focus of attracting companies to our region that will not only provide jobs but will also help to stimulate the local economy," Avon town manager Ryan Cannon said.
