How much rain fell across Indiana the past 3 days? | Live Doppler 13 Weather Blog

This slow-moving weather system brought rounds of rain to Indiana Sunday through Election Night Tuesday. Many Hoosiers picked up over an inch, but not everyone.

INDIANA, USA — While the central plains got hit with strong storms, tornadoes, and flooding rains, Indiana picked up the outer edge of rain showers, bringing healthy totals across much of the state. We tallied the rainfall totals for the past three days (Sunday, Nov. 3 through early Wednesday, Nov. 6).

Just for Tuesday Election Day, it was the fifth-wettest Election Day on record for Indiana. Much of it fell in the late afternoon and evening hours, spreading east into the night.

What you picked up, even in the same town, can differ greatly compared to the report. Generally, most of Indiana picked up at least a half inch of rain, while many were able to get a full inch.
