INDIANAPOLIS — We've seen nearly half an inch more rainfall in the first five days of November compared to all of October in Indianapolis!
We'll see dry weather and more seasonal temperatures returning behind a strong cold front today.
It's been a rainy start to November...
In the past 24 hours, most of the state has received over an inch of rain. Indianapolis has received 1.06 inches of rainfall so far this month, compared to 0.60 inches we received during the entire month of October. We could still use more, though, as most of the area is still reporting drought conditions, and we're in a nearly 2-inch rainfall deficit on the year.
Drier changes ahead
Skies will gradually clear today as cooler air moves in. We'll hold steady in the 60s this morning with highs in the mid 60s today, which is still above average. The normal high has now dropped to just 56.
