INDIANAPOLIS —
Severe weather moved through central Indiana overnight – causing watches and warnings in areas.
There were multiple Tornado Warnings issued for several counties north and east of Indianapolis. According to the National Weather Service, an EF-0 tornado briefly touched down near Royal Center in Cass County. Winds were estimated at around 70 mph.
The watches and warnings had all expired by around 7 a.m., but there is another threat for severe weather Sunday night into Monday morning for the southern third of Indiana, and the Indianapolis metro area will get wet again Monday morning.

7 a.m. - Power crews are working to repair downed poles near Sheridan.
AES reports slightly more than 500 customers without power in Indianapolis. Duke Energy is reporting about 50 customers out in Home Place on Carmel's south side and another 188 out in north Greenwood.

Duke reports 1,000 customers out in Sheridan and another 450 out in Kirkland.
5:45 a.m. - Some poles are down in Madison County according East Madison Fire Territory's Facebook page.
5:17 a.m. - The left lane of I-865 east in Boone County is closed after a crash with a confirmed fatality.
4:55 a.m. - All local watches and warnings have been allowed to expire.
4:50 a.m. - AES Indiana is reporting more than 1,600 customers around Indianapolis are without power. Duke Energy has 5,424 customers without power this morning.
4:35 a.m. - Good news as storms are weakening.
4:28 a.m. - Dustin Grove has been checking surrounding counties and found there are no reports of damage in Madison County, except for a couple of trees down, per dispatchers. Boone County said the powerlines are the only issue they have had so far.
4:18 a.m. - Sean Ash says we could see more severe weather Sunday night and into Monday morning.
4:16 a.m. - All watches and warnings have expired for Indiana, but Sean Ash, Lindsey Monroe and Kelly Greene are keeping an eye on a line of storms south and west of Indianapolis.
4:04 a.m. - New storms are starting to develop on the southern extent of this line (near Bloomington). They are non-severe at this point, but increasing lightning strikes indicate growing storms.
4:02 a.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Randolph county until 4:15 a.m. Union City and Lynn are in the line of strong storms, moving east at 55 mph and winds over 60 mph.
4:01 a.m. - The Wildcat Township Fire, Rescue and EMS shared video as the storms moved through Windfall.
3:59 a.m. - The severe weather brought down trees in Frankfort, Indiana.
3:53 a.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for Randolph and Henry counties through 4 a.m.
3:51 a.m. - Reports of more downed power lines throughout the area are being called in to first responders. Duke Energy outages increased slightly to 5,194. AES Indiana is still reporting 1,521 customers without power.
3:49 a.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for central and east central Indiana until 5 a.m.
3:45 a.m. - Emergency officials are reporting power outages throughout the area. AES Indiana reports more than 1,500 customers without power in the metro area. Duke Energy is reporting 5,151 outages.
3:44 a.m. - Hamilton County reports limited power outages from the storms. There was a home fire that might have been caused by a lighting strike.
3:40 a.m. - All Tornado Warnings for the area have now expired, but severe storms are still moving through the area.
3:35 a.m. - Kelly Green says rotation is possible between Daleville and Middletown. Storms are moving east at 55 mph.
3:30 a.m. - BSU has issued an update to its severe weather alert to campus.
3:25 a.m. - Ball State University has alerted the campus to the Tornado Warning.
3:22 a.m. - A Tornado Warning is now in effect until 3:45 a.m. for Madison and Delaware counties.
3:12 a.m. - A tornado was located near Noblesville. It was moving east at 65 mph.
3:00 a.m. - A Tornado warning is in effect for parts of Madison and Hamilton counties until 3:30 a.m.

The winds will increase this evening. A Wind Advisory will go into effect for north central Indiana from 10pm until 7am Sunday.
Winds will be sustained from 20 to 25 mph and gusts will be near 50 mph.
A cold front will move over central Indiana late tonight. Showers and a few thunderstorms will move from west to east overnight.
A few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible in northwest central Indiana. Rain will move out around sunrise.
The skies will clear out behind the front, allowing temperatures to eventually fall into the mid 50s.
Sunday afternoon will be sunny and breezy. Temperatures will recover into the mid 60s.
