INDIANAPOLIS — Week 3 of Operation Football has concluded following some thrilling games on Friday night. Several of the top-ranked teams had big wins, while others posted tough losses.

Here is a class-by-class breakdown of how all the top-ranked teams in the IFCA Coaches Poll fared during the week of Aug. 30, 2024:

CLASS 6A

  • No. 1 Brownsburg defeated Franklin Central 40-0.
  • No. 1 Westfield defeated Zionsville 28-10.
  • No. 3 Warren Central defeated North Central 30-0.
  • No. 4 Hamilton Southeastern defeated Avon 28-10.
  • No. 5 Crown Point defeated 5A No. 1 Merrillville 46-13.
  • No. 6 Center Grove defeated Louisville Trinity (KY) 24-10.
  • No. 6 Cathedral lost to Cincinnati St. Xavier (OH) 35-31.
  • No. 8 Carmel defeated Centerville (OH) 44-23.
  • No. 9 Lawrence North defeated Wayne (OH) 45-21.
  • No. 10 Noblesville lost to Fishers 17-14 in OT.
