INDIANAPOLIS — It was all Brownsburg during Week 3 of Operation Football's 31st season.
The Class 6A co-No. 1 Bulldogs traveled to Indy's southeast side to take on the Franklin Central Flashes in the first Hoosier Crossroads Conference matchup for both teams.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Bulldogs quickly went up 14-0. Then, with five minutes remaining in the second quarter, Brownsburg scored on a pick-six for a 20-0 lead.
However, the Bulldogs didn't stop scoring. Wide receiver Branden Sharpe took it to the house with a little under three minutes to play to put the 'Dogs up 27-0 before senior cornerback Chance Whitfield recovered a fumble for a 95-yard touchdown run to give Brownsburg a 33-0 lead at halftime.
Brownsburg scored just once in the third quarter, bringing the score to 40-0 in favor of the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs ran out the clock in the fourth quarter to move to 3-0 on the season. The Flashes, however, fall to 1-1.
