INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Zoo is wishing one of its animals a very happy birthday.
Kita, the reticulated giraffe, is turning 7 years old.
"It’s a big day for a big girl! Join us in wishing a #happybirthday to Kita the reticulated #giraffe, who is turning 7 today!" the zoo wrote in a post on Facebook.
You can meet her and the rest of the herd during the zoo's 'Feed a Giraffe' experience at the giraffe exhibit. It happens every day at 11 a.m.
"You can get up close and admire some of these animals' most unique features!" the zoo wrote.
Kita last made the news back in December 2023 when she gave birth to a male calf.
The zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Admission tickets range in price from $15 to $34.75. You can buy your ticket online here.
