WESTFIELD, Ind. — Popular Chicago-style restaurant Portillo's is bringing its seventh Indiana location to Westfield. The restaurant announced the news Thursday.
The new location will be at the entrance to Grand Park Sports Complex, at the intersection of Wheeler Road and State Road 32. Diners will be able to enjoy traditional Chicago food staples like hot dogs, Italian beef and the famous chocolate cake.
"As a family-focused restaurant brand, we’re excited to be right by the Grand Park Sports Complex that welcomes so many families each year," said Michael Osanloo, CEO of Portillo’s. "We look forward to serving delicious meals in a fun environment to the local community as well as to athletes and their families and friends."
Grand Park brings 2.5 million people to Westfield every year for various sporting events.
The restaurant is set to open in the second half of 2021. It will have an outdoor patio and double drive-thru lanes. It will also have bike racks available for diners who are coming in from the Monon Trail.
Fans who want early access to the restaurant can sign up to attend a free sneak peek training meal at portillos.com/westfield.
