Pets of the Week: 5-20-2023

Sebastian Sallow, a 2-year-old boy who weighs 50 pounds, is looking for a home where he can get plenty of walks, as well as comfy couch snuggles. Sebastian can get really stressed in the kennel, but don’t let his bark fool you — he would love to be your new best friend! Sebastian would prefer to be the only pet in the household.

Bear Bear, a 4-month-old boy who weighs 26 pounds, is very happy and playful. He is a very brave and resilient pup who has had to go through so much in the last month after he came to IndyHumane with a degloved paw. Bear Bear is healing well and is a young shepherd, which means he’s going to need a lot of exercise to stay healthy!

Queen, a 2-year-old who weighs 57 pounds, is a sensitive girl looking for a quieter home where she can get lots of love and attention from her new family while she builds her confidence. Queen is very people-oriented, but she might pair well with another dog. She is currently in a foster home where she is getting along with the resident cat and hasn’t had any accidents. She does need to be crated when left alone, though.

Birch, a 1-year-old who weighs 4 pounds, is a very curious lady looking for a home where she can get some gentle love all day long. She may take a bit more time to settle into her new home than other cats her age, but once she falls in love, there is no stopping the biscuits she will make — treats and catnip will help the process!

Mama Ru, a 2-year-old girl who weighs 7 pounds, is a fabulous queen! She “done already done had herses” kittens and is happy to have a home where she can finally take some time to herself. Mama Ru, who is a bobtail, loves to be around people and would love to “sashay away” to your home with you for lots of snuggles. She is never nervous when meeting new people and would love to show off all of her wand toy-chasing talents. Mama Ru would be a great fit for any home without other cats.
