Silky soft, full of kindness and perfect manners are just a few of the many wonderful traits Mimi possesses. During her time at the shelter, she has quickly become a staff favorite. While hanging out at the office, staff members learned all Mimi wants in life is to be someone’s “couch potato,” snuggle bug and to get all the treats in the world. She has previous experience living in a home, so her transition into yours should be painless. All Mimi asks is for her new home to be feline-free.

Victor was one of six cats — all boys — who were crammed together in a box and left on the doorstep for the Humane Society for Hamilton County to find. They were all 2 years old, weighed 8 pounds and were unneutered. When the cats first arrived, they were all terrified and hid in the nearest cubbyhole. When a woman came in to the interview room, most of Victor’s brothers approached her for pets; however, Victor was trying to move so nobody would notice him get a quick snack and run back for cover. Just recently, Victor walked up next to the woman and got pets, rubs and chin scratches. Even though they can live without each other, it is clear Vince and his brother, Vaughn, make each other happy and secure. Please consider adopting them in pairs or together!

Rhoda Roo is a 6-year-old who knows what it’s like to be a good girl in a home. She has her manners down and is crate-trained. Don’t be fooled though: Rhoda Roo still has plenty of puppy energy and zest for life. She is especially smart and knows lots of fun tricks like sit, down and shake. Rhoda Roo’s emotions have been a roller coaster recently as her original owner passed away. Even though she’s still grieving, Rhoda Roo promises to have lots of love to give. She requests her new home be free of small dogs, cats and young kids, but would be happy to meet any large dogs.

Racing-savvy cats have told 7-year-old Andretti his namesake is a pretty big deal. He is interested in being comfy, relaxing, bird-watching, having snacks and snuggling up to a loving human. Andretti’s owner had to enter a nursing home, so that is why he is up for adoption. He is also diabetic, but the medical staff at the humane society found a diet that helps Andretti control his diabetes without taking insulin. He lived in a foster home for a while, and Andretti’s foster parents said he was the perfect house guest — as well as goofy and sweet. Andretti got along with the cats in the foster home. He is neutered, and his paws are declawed.

Treats are like music to 1-year-old Courtney Love’s ears, and she would love to find her forever home really soon. Courtney Love is the type of gal who enjoys stability, routine, and most importantly, security. Once she trusts someone, Courtney Love promises to be the most loyal companion. She loves to run, play and be silly. Courtney Love is looking for a family where everyone is at least 14 years old. If the home already has a cat, she should be fine. Courtney Love would like to have a playdate if the home has other pups to make sure their personalities click.
