SELMA, Ind. — Delaware County emergency management officials reported that early indications suggest up to 50% of the structures in the town of Selma were damaged by the storm Thursday night.
"I saw it form, basically over my neighbor's house just two doors down, then it just dropped. We barely had time to get in the house, then as soon as we got in the hallway, one of our fence panels went through our sliding glass door and the whole door just exploded," Lisa Gulley told 13News Thursday night.
One person was reportedly transported to the hospital for treatment and other minor injuries were reported, Delaware County EMA reported.

The woman, who lives near East and Jackson streets, by Selma Elementary School, said the aid response from the community was immediate.
"Everybody. I have got so many phone calls and so many text messages. People from everywhere. 'OK, what do you need? What do you need right now?' People are ready to just rush right in and help," Gulley said. "So yeah, a big community effort here and I see we have more to go."
