INDIANAPOLIS — It will be seasonable today, but also windy. While temperatures will climb to 60° today, the wind will be annoying, gusting around 30 mph at times.
Clouds will increase this afternoon into the evening, ahead of a cold front.
The cold front could trigger a few spotty showers late tonight into Saturday morning. There isn’t much moisture in the atmosphere, so only a few hundredths of an inch of rain is expected. Temperatures will only fall into the mid-40s, under mostly cloudy skies.
Saturday will be breezy, with winds out of the south-southwest. Afternoon highs will climb into the low 60s.
A few spotty showers will be possible Saturday evening into Sunday morning, with temperatures falling back into the mid 40s.
Sunday will be pleasant, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s.
Monday will be even warmer, with highs near 70°.
A more active pattern moves in next week, as more moisture moves into the mid-to-upper levels. The Precipitable Water model shows more moisture from Monday through Wednesday.
