INDIANAPOLIS — The forecast is quiet for today with a couple of waves bringing rain chances this weekend.
TODAY: Sunny, breezy at times, seasonal highs near 80.
When could rain impact my weekend plans?
Saturday morning between 6 a.m. and noon — especially across the southwestern tier of the state.
Saturday afternoon will be dry, but skies stay mostly cloudy. Lingering clouds will hinder temperatures, with highs only reaching the mid-70s.
Mainly south again Sunday
This boundary stalls out just south of central Indiana and will try to keep a few showers around Sunday morning (south of I-70) before high pressure builds back in and clears the sky out Sunday afternoon. It'll be slightly warmer with more sunshine, with highs in the upper 70s.
Behind those weekend waves, cooler air settles in early next week, with highs in the mid-70s under clearing skies Monday. We'll be in the mid-70s again Tuesday and eventually look for the 80s to return by mid-week. Much warmer air takes highs into the mid-80s late next week.
