The storm clouds had people talking and tweeting. If you were out Wednesday evening as the storms arrived, you know what I'm talking about. Here are a couple of viewer pictures of the scary/crazy looking clouds.
The official name for the cloud is a shelf cloud. These clouds don't rotate and develop at the beginning of a storm. These form as cold air rushes out ahead of a thunderstorm.
