INDIANAPOLIS — A few snow showers are in the forecast to kick off the weekend. The best chance for a little of that snow to stick is across eastern Indiana and western Ohio.
The rest of Saturday will be cloudy and cold with highs in the lower 40s. This is about 20 degrees colder than average.
Speaking of cold, skies clear Saturday night and temperatures fall to near 30 degrees early Sunday.
There will be some frost Sunday morning and the threat for a freeze, too. A freeze watch is in effect for the southern part of the state Saturday night into early Sunday.
Sunday afternoon will be mainly sunny and warmer with highs near 60.
Forecast highs are near 70 early next week. Much like this week, there is a daily rain chance, but there will also be lots of dry time for outdoor activities. A few showers are possible Sunday night into early Monday.
There is a chance of rain on Tuesday, but it won't rain all day. Right now, the wettest and potentially stormy time will be Wednesday and Thursday next week.
Stay tuned for updates and have a great weekend.
