What are we looking at weather-wise this weekend?
Saturday will be another great day with mostly to partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s.
Our pattern will begin to shift on Sunday though. A hotter, more saturated air mass will push in, bringing higher humidity and the threat of scattered rain and storms. This more summer-like pattern continues into next week.
Rain chances on Sunday will increase during the second half of the day. Isolated storms will bring the potential of heavy rain, thunder and lightning. Severe storms are not expected.
Are we looking at another wave of high heat next week?
High dew points continue for most of next week, keeping the muggy meter in the very uncomfortable/miserable zone. This will also prompt the chance of daily scattered storms. Air temperatures return to the upper 80s/low 90s through late next week.
