INDIANAPOLIS — The weather will have us feeling like football season this weekend as the Colts are back in preseason action Sunday. Temperatures (both highs and lows) will run about 10 degrees below average all weekend.
TODAY & TONIGHT: Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s. Staying clear this evening with lows dropping into the mid 50s.
Feeling like football weather for the Colts Sunday
We've got a great Sunday to kick off the Colts season. It'll be cool for the morning tailgate as temperatures warm through the 60s after morning lows drop into the low to mid 50s. Those types of temperatures are more seasonal in late September. Highs will again be in the upper 70s Sunday afternoon.
Cooler-than-average temperatures continue to start next week with highs in the upper 70s on Monday. We are watching an area of low pressure developing to our west which could spark a stray shower or two late Monday.
We're back in the low 80s Tuesday and Wednesday under a partly cloudy sky. As highs rebound to more seasonal levels in the mid 80s for Thursday and Friday, we'll see the pattern become more unsettled with stray storms possible.
