With morning temperatures in the low to mid-30s, a brief wintry mix will be possible.
Rain is likely in the afternoon as temperatures rebound into the mid-40s. A few rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out.
As temperatures drop again Friday night into Saturday morning, rain will change back into a wintry mix and eventually to all snow early Saturday. Overnight lows will be near the freezing mark.
This snowy, wintry mix exits by midday Saturday with highs struggling to reach the low 40s. Skies remain mostly cloudy.
Big improvements arrive on Sunday as our weather pattern dries out and temperatures recover to the low 60s.
