INDIANAPOLIS — 'Tis the season for stuffy noses and sneezes. We're officially experiencing spring allergy season. Typically during the early spring months, tree pollen is the highest count, and that is the case right now.
Right now, Juniper, Elm, and Maple have the highest pollen counts. Tree pollen will remain high through mid-week as the forecast remains dry. With rain returning Wednesday night and Thursday, we find a little relief from those higher pollen counts.
Mold is in the low category but could also impact those who suffer from mold allergies. We aren't currently registering any grass or weed pollen, but those will increase later in the season.
