INDIANAPOLIS — It will be another unseasonably mild day, with temperatures soaring more than 15° above average. The wind will be breezy, gusting around 25 mph at times, allowing temperatures to climb into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
The record of 82° set back in 1963 will remain safe today.
A few scattered showers will be possible later tonight, after midnight.
Temperatures will only fall into the low-to-mid-60s. The wind will continue to be sustained from 15 to 20 mph.
The breezy and balmy conditions continue Friday, too. Afternoon highs will climb back into the upper 70s. The winds will be out of the southwest, sustained from 15 to 20 mph.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around, mainly during the afternoon into the evening.
More rain is possible Saturday afternoon and evening. It will be cool, with afternoon highs near normal, in the low 60s.
Sunday will be a rainy day, with heavy rain at times. It will be cooler too, with highs in the upper 50s.
Rain potential between Friday to Sunday could amount to over 2" in some locations.
