INDIANAPOLIS — It will be jacket weather again Thursday morning, with temperatures in the lower and middle 40s.
You won't need that jacket by lunchtime as temperatures climb into the upper 60s. Highs reach the upper 70s. This is warm for October. The average high is in the lower 70s.
The temperature trend is above average through Sunday. It will be a mainly dry stretch for outdoor plans.
We will watch a couple of fronts later this week. One on Friday and the other on Sunday. The front on Friday will bring a few clouds later in the day but we are not expecting any rain. The next front arrives later Sunday. This front doesn't have a lot of moisture either but a stray shower is possible later in the day.
Cooler air returns early next week with highs in the upper 60s.
