INDIANAPOLIS — The weekend is here and there will be some dry and mild weather for outdoor activities, but there will also be some rain.
You will have most of Saturday dry with highs in the lower 60s. A few showers are possible by afternoon with the steadiest rain falling Saturday night through about midday Sunday.
Here is the timeline:
This means if you are going to the big IU game, don't be surprised if there is a passing shower. It will be mild with highs near 60 for kick-off.
If you are tailgating ahead of the Colts game on Sunday, there will be some lingering showers. We expect the rain to end by 1 p.m. for most of central Indiana.
Veterans Day is on Monday and we are forecasting sunny skies and highs near 60 degrees.
Tuesday will be sunny and mild and also near 60 degrees. This is about five degrees above average.
Storm chances are back later Wednesday followed by cooler air Thursday and Friday next week.
