INDIANAPOLIS — High temperatures were near record levels and in the upper 60s on Wednesday, but the weather pattern is changing.
Grab the umbrella for Thursday as scattered showers and storms are in the forecast. The heaviest rain is forecast to fall during the afternoon hours with .50"-1" possible. The rainfall potential is a bit lower, but some brief minor lowland flooding is still possible. The rain moves out Thursday evening.

Cooler air is back for Friday and the start of the weekend.
Forecast highs are in the mid-40s on Friday and near 40 degrees on Saturday. A few snow showers are possible later Friday night into early Saturday.
The weekend will end with sunshine and 60 degrees on Sunday.
Next week will be warm with highs 65 to 60 Monday through Wednesday. More storms are possible on Tuesday and Wednesday. Severe storms are possible on Wednesday. We will keep you updated.
