INDIANAPOLIS — Skies cleared Sunday evening, allowing temperatures to fall into the upper-30s by midnight and eventually fell into the low-30s Monday morning.
A ridge in the upper levels will allow temperatures to warm well above average through Thursday. Monday will bring sunny skies and tranquil weather. The wind will turn out of the southwest, from 5 to 10 mph. Afternoon highs will run almost 10 degrees above average, climbing into the low-60s.
By Monday night, the wind will shift out of the north, as another high pressure system moves in. While it will be cooler Tuesday, it will still be above average, with highs around 60 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday will be unseasonably mild, with afternoon highs in the low-to-mid 60s under sunny skies.
The next chance of rain holds off until Friday morning, as a cold front moves through. Scattered showers will be around Friday morning through the afternoon.
Temperatures will be back to normal by next weekend.
