INDIANAPOLIS — If you forgot what it looks like, sunshine is returning this week.
This past week has been gloomy, soggy and foggy. From Monday, Jan. 22 to Sunday, Jan. 28, the majority of central Indiana picked up at least 2" to over 3" of rainfall.
The first peak of sunshine could arrive as soon as Monday. Clouds will try to give way to sunshine during the afternoon and before sunset.
However, clouds will quickly return ahead of our next storm system that will bring a chance of a wintry mix Tuesday morning.
A high pressure system will bring drier air by mid-week and help clear clouds.
You can expect more sunshine by the end of the week!
