INDIANAPOLIS — Clouds will increase this evening, with temperatures falling into the upper-20s to near 30 degrees.
Precipitation will arrive around sunrise on Sunday morning.
It will be mainly a snow event for north central Indiana, with rain falling over the rest of central Indiana.
Accumulations around a tenth of an inch to around half an inch will be possible and it will mainly be in grassy areas.
Temperatures will only rise to 40 degrees by early afternoon, and then start to fall the rest of the day. Precipitation will slowly taper off by early evening.
The skies will clear out late Sunday night and temperatures will tumble. It will be unseasonably cold, with lows in the mid-20s.
Monday will be a blustery day, with winds sustained from 15 to 20 mph and gusts around 25 mph.
Afternoon highs will only climb into the low-30s, with wind chill values in the teens and low-20s.
Temperatures will fall into the upper teens to near 20 degrees Tuesday morning.
Wind chill values will be in the single digits.
Tuesday will be sunny, cold and blustery too, with temperatures only in the low-30s.
A slow warming trend moves in for the rest of the week, with rain likely again by Friday.
