INDIANAPOLIS — Central Indiana is under the risk for severe storms on Wednesday. All modes of severe weather are possible including damaging winds and tornadoes. Here is the latest timeline with FutureTrak13.
After the initial wave of rain and storms early in the day, we will be concerned with any sunshine that breaks through the clouds. That sun will destabilize the atmosphere and increase our risk for a few storms that could produce tornadoes. The longer we stay cloudy, the better. However, even if we don't get the sun and a few severe storms there will be a line of rain and potentially severe storms with 75 mph winds from about 6 p.m. to midnight.
