INDIANA, USA — One more snow chance to go for this week!
It's the coldest day of the week and another batch of snow will take advantage of the cold and push into parts of central Indiana between 1-8 p.m.
This snow will be very hit-or-miss because the band will likely be fairly narrow. Instead of widespread scattered snow like we had Wednesday, this snow may be a bit more concentrated. The highest chance for snow looks to be just north of Indianapolis.

Not every Hoosier will get snow today, but whoever is inside the narrow band of snow could see some minor accumulation (under 1 inch) with some possible slick roads.
Sometimes these smaller snow systems are the hardest to forecast.
Who has the highest chance for snow?
These skinny snow bands get tough to forecast because if they move 20 miles north or south, they will completely change who gets snow and who doesn't.
We think flurries are possible across all of central Indiana from Peru to Bloomington, but heavier snow showers will be possible mainly north of downtown Indianapolis.
(Note: There may be some small tweaks to these snow zones either to the north or south.)
- Light blue: Light flurries possible, impacts would be none or very low
- Medium blue: More concentrated snow showers, possible minor accumulations and slick roads
We think the narrow band of snow will be in north-central Indiana. Watch for the chance for some heavier snow showers at times around Anderson, Carmel, Elwood, Fishers, Frankfort, Lafayette, Marion, Muncie, New Castle, Westfield and Zionsville.
The dashed blue line shows you the potential of how the snow band may move and create impacts.
When will it snow?
There will be many Hoosiers that do not get snow today, but parts of central Indiana need to look out throughout the afternoon and evening.
The snow will start to cross the Illinois - Indiana state line around noon. Expect some scattered snow from 1-8 p.m.
After 10 p.m. it should all be in Ohio and expect temperatures to stay steady in the low 20s throughout the night.
If there are wet spots on the road, expect more refreezing to take place Thursday night into Friday morning.
