Another round of snow will be likely Saturday evening into early Sunday. There are many questions regarding the amount of moisture. Some models have only a tenth of an inch of moisture while others have 0.35” of moisture. With the very cold air in place, this should lead the way to a high snow ratio.
No matter how much moisture is in play, it will be easier to generate accumulating snow. Going on the higher end of accumulations, it looks like northwest central Indiana will have the highest snow accumulation, around 2” to 4” of snow. Along the I-70 corridor, snow accumulations will be around 1” to 3” and south of that area, accumulations will be an inch or less.
Keep checking back for the latest.
