INDIANAPOLIS — A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Heavy rain and storms will increase in coverage overnight. Some of the storms have reached severe limits with large hail and at least one report of a confirmed tornado. The storms have also been responsible for flash flood warnings across central Illinois.
All modes of severe weather are possible overnight, including large hail, damaging winds, tornadoes and flooding. Have several ways to get warnings.
