INDIANAPOLIS — Thursday will start rainy and windy and end with some sun and falling temperatures.
The steadiest rain will fall from about 7 a.m. to noon.
Winds may gust over 30 mph. Highs will still be near 50 degrees with some sun after the rain departs, but temperatures will fall quickly Thursday evening into the 30s. You will need a heavy coat if you are coming downtown for the NBA All-Star Weekend tip-off event.
Friday will be much colder with highs in the 30s and snow showers developing late morning.
A wave of steady snow is possible from about 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This wave of snow will move from north to south across the state. Minor accumulations are possible and we will keep you updated on the timing and the totals.
Saturday will be breezy and cold with highs only in the lower 30s. Temperatures rebound into the middle 40s with sunshine on Sunday.
