INDIANAPOLIS — A fast moving weather system will bring rain and some mixed showers north early Wednesday. Temperatures are forecast to stay above freezing for most of central Indiana, but areas north of I-70 have the potential for some mixed rain and sleet showers. There will be light snow across the northern part of the state. Here is the timeline with FutureTrak13.
Stay tuned for updates and look for coverage on Sunrise from 4-7 Wednesday morning.
Colder air arrives, as forecast highs drop to near 40 on Wednesday and Thursday.
It will be even colder on Friday and this weekend with highs near 30 degrees.
Central Indiana will have a few flurries and snow showers Friday through Sunday too.
We are still not expecting a white Christmas because our weather pattern warms again early next week.
