INDIANAPOLIS — The heat continues in Indiana with a southwest wind giving us another day with an Extreme Heat Warning in effect today.

Yesterday, heat index values ranged from 104 to 112 degrees around the state, and it will feel just as uncomfortable today. With a high of 96 degrees, this will be the fourth 90-plus day out of the last five days.

Look for a high of 92 degrees tomorrow. A front will kick off early-morning storms Saturday, and the high will be 86 degrees, but a switch in winds from the north drops us to a high of just 81 degrees on a pleasant Sunday.

In the meantime, please be sure to stay indoors, stay cool and drink plenty of water during the upcoming heat wave.
