INDIANAPOLIS — A severe storm produced a tornado across southern Carroll county. We are getting reports of trees and powerlines down and we will continue to monitor any new information from that area. The threat for severe storms and heavy rain shifts north overnight.
As you make your weekend plans, you will need to be prepared for an interruption to outdoor activities with scattered showers and storms. The best chance for a few storms will be during the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday and Sunday. You can see this with FutureTrak13 on Saturday evening.
Stay weather aware because storms may contain heavy rain, lightning, strong winds and hail. We are forecasting highs in the range of 85 to 90 degrees this weekend.
