INDIANAPOLIS — It was another warm and sunny December day.
The 50-degree warmth continues through the start of the weekend. Expect highs on Friday in the middle and upper 50s. We are forecasting mainly sunny skies.
Clouds arrive Friday night and there will be more clouds than sunshine this weekend. Saturday will still be warm and in the lower 50s.
A few showers are possible on Saturday, with highs in the upper 40s.
A powerful storm system will move from the panhandle of Florida up the East Coast this weekend with heavy rain and strong winds. This system will help drag down some colder air for us early next week and we will have some gusty winds from it, too.
Forecast highs fall back into the upper 30s and lower 40s Monday and Tuesday.
