INDIANAPOLIS — Monday will be a transitional day in central Indiana as we await much warmer temperatures arriving the middle of the week. A disturbance riding along the eastern edge of this warmer air will move across the state later today, bringing an increase in cloud cover and possibly some mixed showers.
Don't be surprised if you have some raindrops, sleet pellets and/or snow showers hitting the windshield in the afternoon/evening. This is common this time of year with clipper systems. The precipitation won't amount to much and high temperatures in the lower 40s Monday afternoon will eventually warm into the 60s Thursday.
