INDIANAPOLIS — The week is off to a warm start. It will stay warm through midweek with highs in the middle 80s.
A cold front arrives later Wednesday. No rain is expected but cooler air is. High temperatures will drop back into the lower 70s on Thursday.
The big race weekend is close and we kick it off with Carb Day on Friday. There will be sunshine and highs in the middle 70s on Friday afternoon. The parade is on Saturday. We are also forecasting sunshine and highs in the upper 70s.
The Indy 500 is Sunday. Some of the latest data hints at a weak weather system moving our way. We will put a few clouds in the forecast for Sunday, but keep it dry for now. The Live Doppler 13 Weather Team will watch that weather feature closely and keep you updated on any changes. Forecast highs are in the 70s for race day.
