INDIANAPOLIS — The weekend is here and warmer weather returns.
The clouds that stuck around on Friday will clear and it will be a mild night with overnight temperatures in the middle and upper 50s.
Expect a sunny Saturday with highs in the lower 80s. A mix of sun and clouds is in the Father's Day forecast on Sunday. It will be a bit warmer and in the middle 80s.
We are still tracking a weather system but right now it is forecast to arrive later Sunday night into Monday and bring the steadiest rain to the southern half of the state. There will be more clouds than sun with that rain chance on Monday. Highs are forecast near 80 degrees.
It will be hotter with a climbing muggy meter are expected next week.
Forecast highs are in the middle and upper 80s. As the heat and humidity rise, we can't rule out a pop-up storm each afternoon. We will keep you updated.
