INDIANAPOLIS — Where do I begin?
Friday will be a day to stay weather aware. Heavy rain, strong winds, severe thunderstorms and snow are all in the forecast. Flooding, wind damage, power outages and difficult travel are possible on Friday.
There is new information from the National Weather Service late Thursday evening. Several of our northern counties are now under a winter weather advisory and Benton county is under a winter storm warning. An area of heavy snow is possible early Friday evening with several inches of snow.
All of central Indiana is also under a flood watch and a wind advisory. Rainfall potential is 1-3 inches and winds will gust 40-plus mph.
We are timing the heavy rain from 2 a.m.to 2 p.m. Friday. The severe storm threat is mainly south from about 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
