INDIANAPOLIS — A powerful winter storm is moving through central Indiana now. We are forecasting 3-6 inches of snow, wind gusts 50mhph+ and wind chills near -40.
Please travel with extra caution because the weather will change rapidly along with road conditions. We are quickly going to see the roads go from wet to icy and snow-covered. As the snow gets heavier this evening and the winds increase, visibility will be low due to blowing drifting snow.
