INDIANAPOLIS — There will be a summer feel this weekend. We have mainly sunny skies in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
Forecast highs are in the middle and upper 80s.
The skies might appear a bit hazy but this is actually smoke due to wildfires across the country being blown our way. That smoke puts more particulates in the lower atmosphere and with the heat and light winds, air quality will suffer. A Knozone Action day has been issued for Saturday. If you suffer from upper respiratory problems, it is a good idea to take it easy.
There will be a complex of storms to track coming out of Illinois late Sunday night. What's left of that complex will bring a rain/storm chance to central Indiana early Monday. The rest of Monday will be dry, but it will be muggy. Expect highs in the middle 80s on Monday.
90 degree heat is still on the way for Tuesday and Wednesday.
