INDIANAPOLIS — A powerful storm system brought heavy rain of 1.5 to 3 inches, gusty winds near 50 mph, wind damage and power outages to central Indiana on Friday.
Quieter weather arrives for the weekend.
It will still be breezy on Saturday but there will be some sunshine and highs in the lower 50s.
Sunday will be mainly sunny and mild with highs in the upper 50s.
The weather pattern continues to warm with highs in the 60s on Monday.
Much colder air is on the way later next week. Highs will drop back into the 40s starting Wednesday and will only be near 40 on Friday.
A few rain and snow showers are possible on Friday.
