INDIANAPOLIS — Snow showers have moved into western portions of the state and light accumulation has begun.
This cluster of snow will continue to track east with widespread snow showers likely through the early afternoon.
While a bulk of the snow will exit the area in the early afternoon, a few scattered snow showers will be possible through the evening. Temperatures hold steady today in the low to mid 30s.
This will bring up to 1" of snowfall to most of central Indiana with isolated spots up to 2". Grassy surfaces will likely be covered with slushy roads possible. Use extra caution when traveling, especially on bridges and overpasses.
The sky will clear overnight with temperatures dropping into the mid 20s. Wind chill values will be as low as 15-20°. Sunshine returns for Sunday but temperatures won't improve much. We're still looking at highs running nearly 20° below average in the upper 30s.
