INDIANAPOLIS — Grab the coat for Wednesday morning. We will start the day colder and in the lower 30s. From there, temperatures climb into the 50s late in the day.
Most of Wednesday will be dry with rain arriving late afternoon and early evening. Wednesday night into early Thursday will be soggy, with an inch or so of rain possible. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, too.
Strong winds will be the weather issue on Thursday. We are under a high wind watch that will change to an advisory or warning.
Winds will be sustained 25-35 mph with gusts 50-60 mph possible. Some damage is possible with winds this strong. Stay weather aware from Wednesday night through Thursday. Right now, the main threat for severe weather is to our south, but again, those wind gusts will be strong to severe at times.
Speaking of Thursday, temperatures will be 55 to 60 degrees early morning but fall into the lower 40s by noon.
Friday will be cooler and in the lower 40s with a few rain and snow showers.
