Gusty winds will be a potentially dangerous part of this storm system. Wind will be SW 30-40 mph all day Thursday. Wind gusts are forecast to be 50-60 mph.

These strong to severe gusts will be enough to bring some tree limbs down and cause some power outages. Stay weather aware, and be prepared for a very windy Thursday.

The other interesting part of this system will be in the temperature drop. We go from near 60 degrees at 8 a.m. into the 40s by noon.

The cooler change sticks around Friday and Saturday. A few rain and snow showers are possible Friday, and highs Saturday will only be in the upper 30s.
