INDIANAPOLIS — Severe storms moved over central Indiana yesterday afternoon into the evening. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis will be conducting storm surveys today, to determine if the storms had a tornado, straight line winds, or a microburst.
Last night, there were a few storm reports in Rush County and one in Miami County.
A tornado likely moved over Rush County late Wednesday afternoon. In the map below, I've circled the areas on Live Doppler 13 Radar that shows area where rotation was likely.
The velocity on Live Doppler 13 Radar shows that there was likely rotation where the red and green pixels are next to each other.
The Shear Detector also found that there was wind shear with this storm at 4:08 p.m.

The Correlation Coefficient, depicting any debris in the atmosphere, shows that there might be some debris in this same time frame.
