INDIANAPOLIS — A ridge in the upper levels has allowed warm air to settle into central Indiana.
The area of high pressure is turning easterly winds, which has shifted the winds out of the east, allowing humidity to fall.
It will be a much more pleasant day, with humidity falling this afternoon under sunny skies. Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s.
Dewpoints are falling into the upper 30s and low 40s, providing nice relief from the sticky conditions.
